Our Name
We get a lot of questions about the name. Let us explain. At first, Pastor Justin wasn’t sure what to think. What kind of name is “Audacity Church” anyway? So he decided to research what the actual definition of “audacity” is. “Boldness or daring, especially with confident or arrogant disregard for personal safety, conventional thought, or other restrictions.” He thought to himself, “That’s exactly what a church is supposed to be…” Another definition said, “audacious acts or statements”. So, he then looked up the word “audacious”. There were many phrases for the definition and after each one he placed the word “church”.

- Fearless CHURCH
- Extremely original CHURCH
- Highly inventive CHURCH
Every definition was describing what Jesus had called the church to be. The next definition said: “An audacious vision of the city’s bright future.” We want to change this to – An audacious, God centered view of our city’s bright future.
